If you're ever in need of a 'special occasion' lunch or dinner spot, Le Bernardin will not disappoint. The food was a rare experience, amazing flavors, and wonderful service. It is considered a 'landmark for seafood' in New York City. Our menu:

Appetizers
  • layers of thinly pounded yellowfin tuna, foie gras, toasted baguette, shave chives and extra virgin olive oil
  • warm lobster carpaccio, heart of palm, orange vinaigrette

Main

  • bread crusted red snapper, zucchini-mint-coriander compote, in a rich citrus broth
  • poached halibut, braised daikon, baby radish, turnips, seasame bouillon

Dessert

  • vanilla yogurt parfait, rhubarb marmalade, basil ice cream, yogurt sponge
  • dark amedei chocolate ganache, sweet potatoe sorbet, pistachio, palm sugar, vanilla salt

I must figure out how to make the 'rich citrus broth' on the red snapper. It tasted like a citrus tomato broth... and I wouldn't mind drowning every meal in it.

(The ravioli in the bottom-middle was the vegetarian option.)
